All of the Pébéo Discovery colors work well on Pébéo Liquid Art Panels and can also be used on glass, canvas, metal, mirror, Plexiglass, acetate, plastics, ceramics, and more. Make sure to clean brushes and droppers with odorless mineral spirits or citrus-based brush cleaners and then rinse with soapy water. Please note: Stir the paint with a wooden stick prior to application to obtain a homogenous and fluid color. DO NOT SHAKE. Use a dropper to place color or pour directly from the bottle onto a flat horizontal surface. The length of time required for the colors to be completely dry varies according to the thickness of the application. A 1/16 inch (2 mm) thick application is dry to the touch after 24 hours and completely dry after 72 hours. Wait a minimum of 7 days before adding a coat of resin over completely dry colors. The metallic colors turn opaque once dry and look particularly good on dark surfaces. Adding a few drops of classic color to SILVER METAL can create more metallic shades. Duochrome effect: The Duochrome colors change depending on movement and light. There are three shade combinations: Pink/Blue, Blue/Green, and Yellow/Purple. The effect appears best on dark surfaces. If you are customizing a light surface, apply a black undercoat. Glitter effect: Three glitter colors round off the range: Gold Glitter, Silver Glitter, and Iridescent Glitter. These colors are highly laden with glitter for a very shimmery look. Use them as a transparent layer on the surface, work on a base, or mix with the color. They must be applied with a brush (not compatible with an airbrush). When wet, the result is "cloudy," but this effect disappears when it dries to reveal the sparkling effect of the glitter. Fluorescent effect: This category includes two colors: Fluorescent Yellow and Fluorescent Pink. Since they have a transparent base, these colors should be applied to a light background. With Gédéo Siligum Moulding Paste, you can create small custom molds and reproduce the most delicate patterns without losing any detail! Siligum paste is suitable for professional artists. Just one hundred grams of impression paste allows you to create up to three molds, four centimeters in diameter. The molding silicone produces unbreakable, flexible, self-de-molding, multi-cavity shapes. Molds made with this two-part silicone are easy to clean and can be reused several times. Once the blue resin and white hardener are mixed, your mold will set within five minutes from the time the impression is taken. This silicone molding paste gives you the ability to create molds that are compatible with many casting materials, including Gédéo Resins. It is easy to reproduce all sorts of objects with Siligum Molding Paste and Gédéo Resins. Measure out 1-part blue component (resin) to one-part white component (hardener). Mix quickly (30 seconds) by rolling the mixture into a ball shape. The mixed dough should have a light blue uniform color. Press the object that you would like to cast into the paste on a flat level surface. Allow the Siligum Molding Paste to set for about 5 min at a temperature of about 73 degrees (23 °C). Setacolor Lightening-Thinner Medium: For airbrushing, you should create a 1:1 mixture (thinner and color) to obtain an optimal viscosity for a smoother airbrush. This technique is highly recommended for customizing sneakers. The result is uniform (if you master the airbrush technique) and leaves no trace of paint. This auxiliary also lets you dilute, liquefy, and lighten Setacolor Leather colors when applied with a brush or airbrush without altering their properties (resistance, shine, etc.), unlike diluting with water. Setacolor Glue: Glue is an auxiliary for bonding cotton, leather, polyester, etc., with pearls, powders, or beads. You should only apply the glue to the necessary areas, and we recommend gluing directly without waiting for it to dry. It is crucial to remove any residues before the glue dries. Setacolor Masking Fluid: Masking Fluid is a peelable drawing gum perfect for defining paint-free areas on leather. Apply in a thick layer. Drying time varies depending on the thickness of the coating, but it should take approximately 30 minutes (Use a hair dryer to speed up drying). The bluish color helps to identify the masked areas and darkens when drying. You can apply it directly to the surface and then paint over it once the gum is dry. Alternatively, you can draw with the gum over an already applied color and cover the masking gum with another color to have a colored masked area instead of coloring the bare surface. Once dry, peel or rub the gum off with your fingers within a maximum of 15 days after application. Apply a thin layer of color to the dry masking gum to obtain clean lines after peeling or rubbing off. You can clean the brush with soapy water. Setacolor Matt-Satin and Gloss Varnishes: Protective varnishes must be applied to the work for optimal and long-lasting results. Available in 2 finishes: matt/satin or gloss. The varnish will help to seal the color perfectly, protecting your creation from rubbing, scratches, wear and tear, and water. They can be applied with a brush for an entirely uniform finish or with an airbrush without prior dilution for a shiny varnish and mixed 50:50 water and varnish for a matt-satin effect. The matt-satin varnish must be well mixed before use. It is recommended to wait 24 hours before varnishing. Tip: Mixing matt-satin and gloss varnishes can achieve the desired finish.
