GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics Viridian Green Hue 4 ozSave Up to30%Off list
Starting At: 13.50
Green GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics provide a highly intense, permanent acrylic with a consistency similar to india ink. Equal the intensity of GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics but with an even, flowing characteristic useful for dry brush application, fine details, pouring, spraying (particularly when mixed with GOLDEN Airbrush Medium), staining techniques and many others. Fluids are created by loading an acrylic polymer binder with concentrated levels of quality pigments for a wide selection of permanent and lightfast colors. No fillers or extenders are added to achieve the desired consistency, nor is the fluid quality achieved with additional water. GOLDEN Fluid Acrylics have the same pigment load as the Heavy Body Acrylics, but in a viscosity similar to heavy cream. Fluids allow for smooth flowing applications while retaining color intensity, tinting strength, film integrity, and adhesion. Fluids blend easily with all acrylic colors, and readily tint gels, mediums, gessoes and grounds. Fluid Acrylics are extremely versatile, and ideal for fine brushwork, glazing, staining, water media techniques and many more. Mix Fluid Acrylics with Airbrush Medium for airbrush application of artwork including textiles. Key Features: * Smooth flowing applications * Permanent and lightfast colors * Extremely versatile * High tinting strength * Low-viscosity, pigment-saturated paint * Retain excellent flexibility when dry * High pigment levels suspended in an acrylic polymer vehicle * Perfect For: * Fine brushwork * Glazing and staining * Water media techniques * Dry brush application * Spraying, brushing, and staining * Allowing for longer, more uniform brush strokes * Absorbing the constant stress and strain placed on canvas Golden Fluid Acrylics contain high pigment levels suspended in an acrylic polymer vehicle. This "flip" varies according to the surface and the surface color. Adding a small amount of black will produce brighter colors. * Golden Fluid Acrylics Iridescent Colors reflect their own light. They appear differently dependent on the light source being either direct or indirect. Mix these colors into other GOLDEN colors to produce the greatest array of pearlescent colors imaginable. Experiment for unique and fascinating effects. See More -

Apply the gel or paint, and while it is wet, place the image side of a printed laser paper copy directly into the wet gel. Let dry overnight. 2. Dampen the paper with a wet sponge. Wait a few minutes to allow water to soak paper. Begin rubbing carefully. Use a soft cloth or scrubbie to remove the paper. You will probably have to remove the paper a few times, for a clean transfer. When the water evaporates, you will be able to see the areas that you missed. See More -
GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics - Titan Buff, 4oz JarSave Up to30%Off list
Starting At: 8.74
White Golden Heavy Body Acrylic Paints- Professionally Loved Acrylics! The original line of paints! GOLDEN Heavy Body acrylic paints are known to be exceptionally smooth with a thick, buttery consistency and contain the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion vehicle available to the professional artist. These colors offer excellent permanency and lightfastness. There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added. Each Heavy Body acrylic color is formulated differently depending on the nature of the pigment. Colors that tolerate higher pigment "loads" dry to a more opaque, matte finish. Colors that are more reactive and do not accept high pigment loading, dry to a glossy finish and tend to be more transparent. Heavy Body colors contain no additives, such as matting agents, therefore the gloss of each color will be different. Key Features:* Exceptionally smooth, rich, buttery consistency* Dries quickly, permanent and archival in quality* Ability to "stand up" and retain brush strokes* All HB colors are thixotropic in nature* Retain excellent flexibility when dry, diminishing the possibility of cracking* Heavy Body viscosity can also be reduced successfully with water* No flattening agents* No opacifiers added to colors* Clearest and cleanest quality* 101 different colors, shades and tints* 30 colors are mixture colors, the rest of produced from single, unique pigments* Concentrated/Chemically Pure Cadmiums Perfect For:* Approved for professional artist* 100% acrylic binder* Freeze-thaw stability* "stand up" and retain brush strokes or palette knife marks on the canvas* Largest assortment of unique pure pigments* There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added* Can be mixed with all of our GOLDEN Mediums, Gels and other paint lines C.P. Cadmiums = A grade that has a high concentration of cadmium and is considered the highest quality. The C.P. designation has been associated with both “Chemically Pure” and "Concentrated Pigment". Which translation you come across will often depend on the source and context. In terms of “(CC)”, it refers to “Concentrated Cadmium” and was adopted by the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) as a way to differentiate higher quality cadmiums from lesser quality cadmium-barium pigments. All Heavy Body colors are thixotropic in nature This means that when brushing or stirring, the paints actually lose viscosity and feel much thinner. The faster the paints are moving, the thinner they feel. Returned to a state of rest, the paints gradually increase in thickness until they are again restored to their formulated viscosity. The Heavy Body line of acrylics contains no additional flattening agents, opacifiers or other solids that might interfere with the clarity of our pigments Please note: The items on this page are available at the Best Lowest Price Possible and no further discounts can be applied. …open time * Reduce the surface tension of acrylic emulsion * Improve the slickness and flow of paint * No acrylic binders * Use them in correct proportions * Click the yellow circle icon for product information Perfect For: * Acrylic painting * Minimizing paint waste * Classroom, home, and studio *… Reduce surface tension and increase paint flow Additives serve a similar function to mediums. The difference is that additives don't contain acrylic binders (like mediums do), so you must follow the label and use them in correct proportions. Most mediums can be added to the paint in any amount until you've achieved the desired effect, but additives can weaken the color and adhesion of the paint when overused. GOLDEN offers these two additives, which are a useful addition to any painters studio. Wetting Agent: Formerly known as Acrylic Flow Release - an additive used to reduce the surface tension of the water in the acrylic emulsion, thereby increasing the slickness and flow of the paint. It is useful for achieving rich stains on a porous surface. Not for use by children. Retarder: an additive used to increase the open (drying) time of acrylic paints. Useful for wet on wet techniques and reducing skinning on the palette. Key Features: * Increase open time * Reduce the surface tension of acrylic emulsion * Improve the slickness and flow of paint * No acrylic binders * Use them in correct proportions * Click the yellow circle icon for product information Perfect For: * Acrylic painting * Minimizing paint waste * Classroom, home, and studio * Teachers and students * All acrylic-friendly surfaces The retarder does not contain binding agents. To ensure adhesion, the addition of Retarder should not exceed 15% (1:6)when mixed with colors or mediums. See More -

Waterborne Varnish can be thinned and cleaned up with water, eliminating the need for harsh solvents, and you can remove it from a painting with household ammonia. GOLDEN Isolation Coat - is a ready-to-use sealing coat for acrylic paintings. Previously acrylic artists’ only recourse was to dilute Soft Gel Gloss with water (our former and still acceptable recommendation) before applying it to completed acrylic artwork. Isolation Coat eliminates the need to measure and mix while increasing flow and leveling. Isolation coat is a permanent acrylic medium that seals surface absorbency and allows for improved varnish application and easier varnish removal. Apply one or more layers before varnishing. What does golden isolation coat do? Isolation coat serves two purposes: Seals any absorbent areas in order to create an even surface on which to apply the varnish. Protects the painting if/or when the varnish is removed by separating the pigmented area of the painting from the solvents used in removal. GOLDEN Polymer Varnish with UVLS (Ultraviolet Light Stabilizers) - available in Matte, Satin, and Gloss finishes. A waterborne acrylic varnish that dries to a protective flexible and dust resistant surface over acrylic paint. Removable with ammonia.
