The Watercolor III objective is to learn how to refine your compositions for better watercolor paintings with the aid of key element studies, color, and values. Often drawings do not translate well into color because of composition flaws. In this class, we will learn how to see our composition and ready it for its final work into watercolor. You will need very soft graphite pencils (6B or high), or charcoal pencils, and smudge sticks or stumps to complete your value studies for this class. You will need colored pencils, a set of 12 or larger, as you wish. Also, you will need a pad of large size tracing paper sheets. Be sure you have your watercolor paper and all your other supplies. If your orchid includes extra large leaves, you may want to purchase two Raphael #8404 Round Brush #8.
