First, throw the rule book out the door-- you can use most any medium, use any ideas, and most importantly, PLAY. Journaling isn’t finished artwork that others will necessarily see, so it doesn’t have to be finished and pretty-- it can be used as an exploration of new media or themes, tell a story, or even be used as personal “art therapy” set down in a visual form.
