Marabu Silk is a highly pigmented lightfast fluid, low viscosity transparent color designed to be permanent on sheer, light colored fabrics. The color is made washable up to 140F by setting with a hot dry iron for 3 minutes, preferably image side up with a thin piece of fabric or paper between the iron and the image. Alternatively, bake the fabric in the oven at 300F for 8 minutes. The latter is ideal for shoes and items that cannot be ironed. Marabu Silk also works on other porous surfaces such as paper, wood, plaster, bisque fired clay and absorbent acrylic mediums and grounds. Marabu Silk cleans up with soap and water and should be applied using synthetic or synthetic/natural fiber blend brushes.
