Have a smaller studio space to work, or are you an artist on a smaller budget— but still want a durable, quality solid wood H-Frame Studio Easel? Mabel’s M-09D Studio Easel may not have the bells and whistles of their M-18D or M-06D models, but it offers the same amazing durability and faithful performance at a budget-friendly price point! The M-06D still allows the ability to tilt forward to 6 degrees for pastel work, and backwards 10 degrees for adjusting for glare or comfort while working on oils or acrylics. Having a smaller stature than its more expensive counterparts (56 1/4” at the lowest height setting; 96” at the tallest mast height) allows for lower ceilings in apartments, homes, or studios that some artists don’t think to account for. The smaller profile footprint of 21 1/2” wide x 20 1/2” deep allows more space in a smaller studio for the artist. The attached canvas tray has a lip depth of 1 3/4” to secure larger canvases, and will hold up to a 45” canvas height. The small storage tray beneath the canvas tray measures 15 3/8” w x 2 1/2” deep x 2 3/4” high, just enough for paint tubes and small medium bottles to be tucked. Although the easel doesn’t have casters, it weights in at a manageable 23 lbs so is easy maneuvered.
