- 12x12" Heated Palette – An excellent choice for the beginner or small-scale encaustic artist! Made from 1/4" thick anodized aluminum (to prevent pigment discoloration) and a Baltic birch plywood base, a separate electric heating element slips under the palette to keep the surface evenly heated. Stands 3 1/2" high.
- 16x16" Heated Palette – The ultimate encaustic palette! The 3/8" thick sheet of anodized aluminum alloy prevents negative pigment reaction and discoloration, and stands on 4 legs that are adjustable to ensure easy leveling of the palette surface. A separate electric heating element slips under the palette and provides even heat across the surface. An attached adjustable brush holder keeps both long and short handle brushes balanced on the palette while not in use. This palette is on the wish list of every encaustic artist!
- Palette Thermometer – Encaustic paints should not be overheated or they may burn, and this thermometer will help you make sure you keep your paints at the correct temperature. Simply rest it on your heated palette to monitor the temperature throughout your painting sessions. Measures from 50° to 600° Fahrenheit.
