Quick, Easy and Archival Mounting!

Spray adhesives tend to migrate into thin paper stocks, and if you're not very careful, the adhesive can be uneven, causing problems later on. Luckily, there's now a much easier alternative. Introducing Double Tack Acid-Free Mounting Film. Double Tack requires no heat, moisture, glue or activator, so it simplifies the process of mounting your artwork and photographs, saving you time and frustration.

Sandwiched between two heavy release sheets, Double Tack Acid-Free Mounting Film has two coats of permanent, archival adhesive on both sides. Once you're ready to mount your art, simply lift up on one of the release sheets and carefully apply the sticky side of the film to the back of your artwork or photo. Next, remove the other release sheet from the film and apply the artwork or photo to the mounting surface. It's just that easy!

I found it easiest, if you are trimming a print to put the adhesive on the photo, then trim and apply to your backing, in my case foam core. The additional weight actually makes the print easier to handle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from The Best Permanent Bond I use Double Tack to bond pastel papers to gatorboard or acid free foamboard. It forms a permanent bond and stays put. Once you get the hang of it, it is so easy to apply. Great product. I've been using it for years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by freeflighter from I like this product I work with pastels. I often use underpainting methods that tend to buckle the support. I use Graffix to mount the pastel support onto a archival backing board. Graffix is much superior to spray cements and is much less expensive than having a framer dry mount the support to the backing. Its Graffix for me from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by andree from This works! I paint with pastels, and I use this product to mount sanded paper onto a backing so I can use wet media in underpainting without buckling the paper. Since I don't have access to a dry mount press, this is a great substitute.
