A modern ergonomic design features an easy to locate 3rd nib that separates from the main barrel of the marker. A clear barrel for a streamline look with no labeling and two color end dots for easy identification.
Brand new mix of nibs for greater choice, including a chisel nib for full color work, a new fine nib for detail and a new brush nib for illustration. These robust longer lasting nibs are specially developed for Tria and new feeder system prevents fine nib from drying out. Modular pens allow you to create a marker that suits your mode of working, you can now replace the whole nib housing when worn out so it's non-messy.
Digitally structured, easy to understand references
The Tria reference has 4 parts: R 5 5 5
1. ALPHA: This determines the basic 8 colours: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Violet and Magenta.
2. HUE: (first digit) Each basic color is divided into 9 levels; Level 1 Red will be more magenta while Level 9 Red will be more orange.
3. SATURATION: (second digit) Determines the vividness of the color; Level 1 will be dull (almost grey) while Level 9 is very strong and vivid.
4. LUMINOSITY: (third digit) Determines how light or dark the color is; Level 1 will be very dark while Level 9 will be very pale or pastel.
