Yasutomo Sumi-E Sketch Pads

Yasutomo's Sumi-E Sketch Pads are made in Japan with traditional Oriental papers that are characterized by a soft feel and an absorbent quality. For this reason they are highly unique and offer an interesting surface for drawing with inks, charcoal, pastel and watercolor. The 9"×12" pad is made with Hosho paper while the two larger size pads are made with the very popular Washi paper. Each pad has 48 sheets that are attached by loose thread into the pad. A real treat for the artist.
