SoHo Urban Artist Semi-Hard Drawing Pastel Sets

Traditionally these pastels (semi-hard) have been a stepchild to Soft Pastels because of their semi-hard character. However, SoHo brand is different as they are so richly pigmented the line quality is as good if not better than their soft pastel cousins. The colors match the soft range so you can lay down the first layers with these and then do upper layers with the same soft pastel color. 

The long square stick also lends itself well to illustration and rendering with crisp lines for detailing and the ability to shade using the side of the stick. Each richly pigmented stick measures .276" × 3.63" in size. The white and black are a great drawing medium that can be used separately for various needs.
