Arches Watercolor Blocks

Bound on all four side watercolor blocks prevent curling of the sheet while eliminating the need for taping sheets down. After use, your finished art may be removed from the block with a standard razor blade. Most blocks have an exposed area allowing you to locate the bottom of the sheet without harming other sheets. You’ll find that a watercolor block can be quite convenient for field use and studio use. A well balanced studio should include a watercolor block as part of the available supplies.

Arches 140 lb Blocks - Made of 100% rag Arches 140 lb. watercolor sheet paper. Each block contains 20 sheets. Available in rough, cold pressed or hot pressed surfaces.

Arches 300 lb Blocks - Fantastic for plein air painting, these blocks feature 640 gram paper that is bound on four sides thus allowing soaking of paper before working and without the problems of buckling and bubbling. Blocks have 10 sheets and feature Cold Pressed paper in traditional white hue.
