The use of both gum arabic and dextrin makes the pigment lift easily, and creates the proper bonding to the paper. Paint film will remain workable as with watercolor and the lightfast pigments ensure lasting results. 

Costly and dangerous pigments such as cobalts and cadmiums have been eliminated from this line, yet the intensity level of the color simply can't be beat. Made by milling up to ten times on the triple-roll mill, it is a superb color for experimenting on dark colored surfaces or for getting incredible bright and brilliant designs impossible with transparent watercolors.
