This is the classic Plein Air design from which all others descended. The style uses a stepped inner lip to offset it from the painting. The outer edge has a rounded interior and corner with a raised design to give a stacked look. The golden hue is slightly antiqued and has light gray accents. A sure winner for virtually any type of artwork that requires classic simplicity with the appeal of age. The frame is 3 ½" wide and has a rabbet of ¾". Available in a variety of convenient, ready-made sizes, Manchester Colonial Frames have all these wonderful features:

3½" width and ¾" rabbet depth.
