Fine Quality Beechwood French Easel with Metal Lined Drawer
Made of oiled and sealed beech wood which is a sturdy hard wood. It not only is pleasing to the eye with its rich sienna hue but will stand up better than other woods for outdoor use. Its innovative metal lined sketch box is adjustable to configure to the needs of various media and your custom assortment of supplies. A finished 12×16 wood palette keeps supplies in place and may be used for oil painting.
The brass and brass plated hardware resist tarnish well. Sets up to a wide range of painting heights and can also be used on a table top. The top of the sketch box serves as your canvas mast and may be positioned for standard painting as well as for watercolor painting at various angles. The top canvas holder may be positioned to a height large enough to support canvas or board up to 34.5” high and any reasonable width. The bottom canvas tray moves up so you can position smaller painting supports where they are the most comfortable to paint.
This fold-up easel may be used as a wet canvas carrier. The legs of the easel have rubber tips and may be outfitted with the supplied leg spikes for securing to the ground. A soft leather handle and a linen shoulder strap allow for easy carrying. The easel measures 21” × 14” × 6” folded down and weighs less than 14 lbs.
