This easel accommodates 9" wide minimum to 16" wide maximum . If you're not going smaller or larger than this easel will surpass the utility of any you own today. Can be used for canvas panel and regular canvas but NOT 3" deep canvas. Sets up in 20 seconds! Just unfold aluminum telescoping aluminum legs and set to desired height. Flip open canvas holder and you're ready to go.
Lots of open working space! When open, the box provides approximately 18" × 18" of working space, including flip-open wings that allow you to stand up brushes and a palette that you can rest in place if desired. A tripod utility bag holds paint rags and larger gear under your paint box so you can set up completely without having to stop to fetch supplies somewhere else.
Easily adapts to various heights and as table easel! Let's face it, French easels were not the easiest to use at a table and changing easel height was almost comical. This easel was built to be dual purpose so it stays securely on table tops. The aluminum legs offer a smooth motion for easy telescoping of easel height with one touch leg locks. The maximum height of your easel box is 36¾", which would put your canvas at a working height of just under 5ft. This allows artists of virtually any height to paint comfortably.
Swivel painting mast for adjusting! A 360° swiveling mast may not be something you ever thought you needed; but it is a fantastic departure from having to paint with an easel box drawer in front of you. You can paint with the mast side by side to your easel box and painting supplies, to your left or to your right or even towards the back.
