An ideal multimedia paper, Fabriano Ingres is characterized by a lovely texture pattern. This surface is a favorite with artists at all skill levels and working in a wide range of media. The laid finish is fantastic for drawing with charcoal, pastels, ink, Conte Crayon, and pencil, as well as calligraphy and even off-set printing.
Ingres is skillfully made from a time tested blend of cotton and alpha cellulose. Its high rag content makes it very strong, allowing for repeated reworking. Heavyweight 160 gram Ingres also lends itself well to light washes and oil pastel for wonderful mixed media applications. Two deckle edges give this paper a real rich look.
