Winsor & Newton Triple Primed Artists' Canvas - 1-1/2" Deep

Brilliant color starts from the ground up, so Winsor & Newton Artists' canvas is tripled-coated with acrylic primer formulated to keep oil and acrylic where it should be: on the surface. There's no sinking, ensuring that colour on Winsor & Newton canvas remains brilliant and true. In addition, the canvas and primer have been developed together to offer rigidity (for oil stability) and the ideal tooth for secure adhesion.

This professional range of canvas features back stapling for clean edges and simple re-stretching. It is made of an 11oz pure cotton duck which is 15% heavier than most other canvases on the market. Triple coated with one coat of acid-free sizing and two coats of ultra white acrylic primer resulting in a medium grain surface that is ideal for all techniques. Every aspect of the canvas is of superior quality, including a professional frame construction with kiln-dried wood and beveled stretcher bars, hand-stretched for ideal tension, rigidity, and cleanly tailored corners.  

Select from standard 13/16" depth or 1-1/2" Deep Edge canvases in wide array of sizes individually shrink wrapped and packed 6 or 2 to a case to keep well in your studio.
