Panelli A Gesso - Gessoed Panels - From a superb natural wood called Pioppo which has excellent strength, even in large sizes. The Old World acid-free gesso has a matte, buffed appearance and is much more absorbent than other gesso panels using traditional gesso primers. Available in two distinct surfaces; one is similar to a cold pressed watercolor sheet, the other is smooth for fine details.

Panelli A Olio - Oil Primed Panels - Made with an oil priming using an old world recipe, these panels have a lovely finish very similar to a cold pressed watercolor surface. This surface allows the oil colorist to paint in heavy layers since the surface texture grips paint.
