These brushes have long-life synthetic quill ferrules that are wrapped in copper wire and set onto balanced naturally varnished wood handles. They're superb for flowing colors onto silk, engaging when painting short crisp strokes or broad strokes with watercolors and marvelous for achieving awe inspiring sweeping and scrolling strokes with thinned acrylics and inks. The size variation allows use on surfaces as small as a postcard or as large as a billboard!
