Pro Stroke Red Sable Brushes

Made out of Kolinsky grade pure red sable hair, these brushes have a soft feel, natural spring and hold a generous amount of color. This brush creates smooth and accurate strokes. Rounds come to a fine point and Brights come to a flawless chisel edge that resists splitting. These brushes are chock-full of hair, giving them an extra full body for maneuvering thick and thin bodied colors. 

These quality brushes are excellent for oils and work beautifully with acrylics, caseins, watercolor, alkyds and egg tempera. Each brush is made by hand cupping the hair, hand tying the bundle, hand setting the bundle into gold plated seamless ferrules and gluing and crimping the ferrule by hand onto balanced, long matte black wood handles with gold dipped ends. They are among the very best produced for serious artists at all skill levels.
