What’s the difference between these and the two major brands? Indeed there will always be differences in battery technology but developments are rather slow and the knowledge curve is slight at best. Raymax uses state of the art technology, aluminum housing and has a long shelf life. 

Most brands will yield no time difference but some brands may yield slightly longer life between 3-6%. The difference is really very small.  Long life Alkaline batteries last between 17-19 hours of use. Raymax last 18 hours on average.
