"Matisse Derivan makes a large range of products, but the range that I'm most proud of is our Matisse range of Structure and Flow paint and a range of really useful mediums to go with them. We make these paints equal to and more often, better than any other acrylic paint made in the world. I know this because we test our paint against all our apparent competitors, and it turns out, there are very few.
We source and use the best possible pigments and ingredients from all over the world, although whenever we can, without compromise to quality, we support local manufacturers. We maximize the pigment load in all of our paints where strength of color is beneficial to artists... you'd be amazed what other companies think is the max! Our color range consists of mixtures and single pigment color and we're adding more single pigment color all the time. In fact, percentage wise, our range has more than anyone else in the world.
Matisse Derivan is a family owned company that is small enough to be responsive to artists' needs and desires and big enough to see those projects to fruition. That's a great part of working here, but the thing that really makes my day is creating a product or color that no one knows they want yet, and seeing that "WOW" reaction.
