HP Gesso

This "high performance" white gesso primer may be used on virtually any absorbent surface where paints such as acrylics, oil colors, gouache, casein or alkyds are to be painted. This would include unprimed or previously acrylic primed canvas, wood or card stock boards and non-coated masonry. HP Gesso dries within minutes to a rich white surface. 

Covers well in one coat but two coats are recommended to create an ideal surface. Light sanding between coats is also recommended. Finished surface is semi-absorbent to allow for good adhesion of all paints. Proprietary formula includes Titanium Dioxide for a rich white color with excellent covering power. Also contains calcium carbonate to aid in adhesion of paint and silica to create good flexibility creating a stable support for stretched canvas.
