This just in! Mungyo Gallery Handmade Pastels now in stock!

Open stock handmade soft pastels for professional artists!

Let the fanfare begin! After months of waiting and biting our fingernails, new Mungyo Gallery Handmade Soft Pastels are finally in stock! And just in time for plein air painting season, as well. So why not grab a couple and get outside to paint?

Mungyo Gallery Handmade Soft Pastels are just that: handmade. Made from a blend of finely ground pigments and kaolin clay, they are hand-rolled into the classic European-style, cigar-like shape. Since they are hand-rolled, less binder is needed to keep the pigments together, so Gallery Handmade Pastels' consistency is softer and smoother than other soft pastels. Plus, the pigment strength gives the colors a brilliance and vibrancy that is second to none!

Are you already a fan of Mungyo Gallery Pastels? The new Handmade pastels just happen to match perfectly with the Gallery Extra-Fine Soft Pastels, as well, making them great for layering over the somewhat harder Extra-Fine pastels. We've had the Handmade sets in stock for a while now, so if you're already a fan, now you can replace your favorite colors with the new open stock! New to the line as a whole? Pick up a Gallery Handmade Soft Pastel set today, and see what all the fuss is about!

Can you see why we're excited? 200 colors of luscious, vibrant open stock pastels are freshly unpacked in our warehouse, just waiting to be painted with! And perhaps the best part is the price: this spring, it'll be easy to stock up on all your favorite pastel colors for the upcoming plein air painting season!
