An Open Letter from Michael Marchetta, Director of Marketing for Jerry's Artarama Online Superstore

As a business we have come a long way over the 45 plus years, and to serve you better, we are always re-inventing ourselves with new offers, services, low prices and access to great quality supplies designed with the artist in mind. Our commitment to you goes far beyond what you see on our website and in programs because we appreciate all that you do. Our passion is your passion!

In today's digital world we are growing more and more interconnected in many ways and we love that! We get to see all the great pieces of artwork you create, answer the many questions you have, and help you share with other aspiring artists, and of course.. share with us all of your comments (good or badSmile). We know we're not perfect but each and every day we strive  to provide the best service and experience.

I thought it would be a great idea to point out that we read and respond to almost every comment we receive. The purpose of this letter today is to let you know we are listening, we care, and to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to write us or tell other customers how you feel. Your comments and support help us better serve you and provide us with invaluable information to make adjustments and changes when needed. I can say this with confidence, we have gotten where we are today by doing that and will continue to do so everyday.

Often in our shopping experiences, when something goes wrong or there is an issue we call and or write right away to voice our concerns, and you should so we can help you. But, what we love about our customers is that they will let us know when we've also met or exceeded expectations. That is awesome and encouraging, and for that, we can't thank you enough. Jerry's Customers are truly special and loyal. Your voice is heard and your opinion truly means something to us.

Staff Review of the Monterey Easel

Last Weekend we had a Super Sale on Easles and Furniture offering up to 84% OFF List Prices which included alot of our exiting easels like The Paris French Easel, Monet Fench Easel and much more. In addition to the large line of easels and furniture we already carry, we added some new arrivals and put them on sale as well. Some of the new items on sale were the Saint Remy Studio Easel, Eagel Rock Studio Easel, The Art Quest Desk and a few more.

One thing we decided to do and will be showcasing more of is a "Staff Review". Not only do we carry the largest selection of discount art supplies, but we are artists too and we use the same products you do. We have many artists employed here at Jerry's and we focus on bringing you the best products to use at that best prices.
The "Staff Review" was provided by Caroline King on the Monterey Multi-Angle Studio Easel.
Like the many here at Jerry's Artarama, Caroline is one of our designers here who works hard on many things web related (you get to see all the fun stuff created by the web team) and you guessed it.. she is an artist too. The Monterey Easel was on sale for that weekend and she provided our unsuspecting shoppers with a nice surprise and her experience with using it... She like many spent some time researching and trying out different easels and found this to be to her liking.

Jerry's Launches All New Art Community

 

In the interests of keeping you connected to the many valuable things happening we set out to organize it all in our new Artist Community Area. From facebook to twitter to our blog, get featured news stories and events happening now... it's is all in one place we call the "Community."  According to Wikipedia, "The word community is derived from the Old French communite which is derived from the Latin communitas (cum, "with/together" + munus, "gift"), a broad term for fellowship or organized society." .....with/together is what life is all about.
The great thing about our Community is anyone can get involved from professional artists, to teachers, to bloggers, those looking to learn more about art or just stay informed.

We will be posting featured announcements and events that are happening right now such as the Art-A-Athon, Contests such as the Artist of the Month and much more. In our quest to add more resources we started out with the Workshop listings and FREE Video Art Lessons (the free video art lessons will be getting a whole new makeover so stay tuned). Jerrys provides listings of workshops here and abroad for those who want to improve their skills, expand their creativity and become part of the art community and you can get more information on the workshop listings in the community.

We will soon be adding testimonials, product reviews, comments and suggestions and ways to get ideas and tips. We have many great artists, writers, partnerships and resources to bring to you so please join us and become part of our community.
