Raffiné is expertly crafted with double black wire binding with a stiff backing board and a burgundy 50 gram cover. The superior multi-media paper is just lovely. Due to its robust 220 gram weight, 25% rag content and both internal and external sizing it can handle virtually any media. From graphite to Conte crayon, from gouache to shellac or acrylic based inks, from charcoal to soft pastel, from marker to Pitt Pen and from fluid acrylics to watercolors, this sheet can handle any media and is strong enough for repeated reworking. 

It is one of the few true archival drawing pads made and is acid-free, lignin-free, and chlorine-free. Exclusively made for Creative Mark by Lana in France, one of the oldest and most respected fine art paper mills in the world. Available in pads where the three most common sizes are available in side spirals which have 48 sheets that you flip horizontally and a large format 14 × 17" pad with 24 sheets and a top spiral for flipping sketches making pocket sketching and easel painting easier. The Trial Size 5.5 x 8.5" ArtSketch is a 24 sheet side spiral pad. Raffine is also available in new 18 × 24" and 22 × 30" sheets sold 10 to a pack.
