I was introduced to art by a set of supportive and open-minded parents who were always willing to encourage any creative inkling. Taking an early interest in drawing and illustration, I spent my formative years doing my best to reproduce, or sometimes contributing my own rudimentary additions to, a visual mythology presented in the cartoons, comics, and movies I could get away with watching and reading. It was a passion I never got away from. To this day, my favorite subject matter for my artwork remains that which is unknown and, on occasion, a little unsettling to the viewer. I've always tried to present the fantastic in such a way that seems as though it could be real through careful and methodical attention to craft, technique, and study of true-to-life anatomic and mechanical references. I want what I produce to "wow" the viewer, but still come across as though it could exist in real life.....Show More of Bio..
