"Charvin Oil Paints are the best quality paints. They are vibrant, while most oil colors lose their vibrancy when they dry, Charvin dry true to color. I especially love the grey colors. As a plein air painter time is important, the grey colors such as Green Grey Dark and Ash Green enable me to get truer landscape colors without having to mix as much. I would recommend these paints even to beginners."

“I had borrowed a few small tubes of Charvin Fine oil colors from a friend. Yes, they are expensive. However, Charvin Fine oil paints have lots of pigment in them. So, I actually used a lot less of them because of their high concentration. They are bright, creamy and also blend nicely. They are definitely of high quality and I know that they sell in a progression of colors, which makes it much easier to mix colors. They apply nicely in both transparent glazes and impasto style. I also mixed them with my other oil colors to finish up my paintings.”

"From the first time I saw the array of gorgeous colors on the Charvin list, I was hooked. At first I ordered 8 tubes of colors that I thought were something I could “fill in” the other oils on palette. Once they arrived and I started working with them for my solo show last winter, I realized what superb quality they were.
