"As an art professor and an exhibiting artist with 15+ years experience, I highly recommend the Mungyo Gallery soft square pastels which can be bought individually, or as a box set of 5. I like the square ones because they give m"e a sharp edge to paint fine detail."

| "Having worked in pastels for years, I'm picky about the quality. There's not much worse than making an important stroke only to have a hard, small bit rake through your stroke and destroy it. I under paint in semi-hard pastels, then execute the final passages with soft pastels. Mungyo Gallery Pastels were a pleasant surprise, considering the very reasonable price!" |

"I have tried many pastels but love Mungyo Gallery square pastels for their superb brilliance in color. Thought I often combine pastel pencils with my pastel art, with mungyo squares I can use the tip for fine detail. The pastel sticks have a buttery stroke whih can be blended easily with your fingertips.
I would highly recommend Mungyo Gallery pastels for both beginning and seasoned pastel artists. "
